Eric Wise: Open Source Hippie??!!??

I can't hold back on this one... Eric Wise has become an open source hippie like Brendan and me... See here...

Ok, actually Eric is experimenting with the Open Source model, and for a lot of the same reasons I would end up going that route witha product I actually built... it's spelled T  I  M  E...  Family time, job time, time for personal sanity... If I could only sleep 4 hours a day (like Sahil), I might have more time for family, job time, sanity time, and my own projects/business... Oh well such is life...

How some of you find the time to play with the new stuff is beyond me... I have VS2005 installed on my laptop... and that's about it.  I just don't have the time to play that much.  How about you?

Oh yeha, BTW, Good luck, Eric! (and so much for my hope of coming to work for you, or maybe there is hope... who knows?)

Coming from someone who only gets about 4 1/2 - 5 hours of sleep per night, I can say that I still don't have enough time to get all done that I want to. Of course, having a newborn in the house hinders that some!

I'm like you. I have VS 2005 installed - I even have a side business and we're working in it, and I still can't find the time to even do what I need to do, let alone play around and learn what I want to learn.

My view? Don't give up the sleep! You'll find you still don't get enough done, so why bother starting the sleep deprevation process?
